ABOUT US

OUR HISTORY

In 1997, five individuals gathered on a Wednesday night for Bible study, and during that time, a vision for a different type of ministry began to take shape. We felt called to reach out to the unchurched and share the love of God in a new way. That evening, a study group was formed with the goal of creating a ministry that would impact lives in a meaningful way. Within months, the group grew to eight people, and on January 20, 1998, we were officially incorporated. In November 1999, we moved into our first church building at 1006 S. 56th Avenue in Hollywood, and New You Ministries was born. Our journey continued in 2013 when we purchased our first property at 5901 SW 25th Street in West Park, FL, marking a new chapter in our mission to serve and grow as a community of faith.

OUR VALUES

Our values are rooted in love, compassion, and service. We are committed to seeking out the unchurched and meeting them where they are, demonstrating Christ’s love through genuine relationships. We believe in the power of community, where individuals can grow in faith, find belonging, and be equipped to live out God’s purpose in their lives. We value authenticity, humility, and a heart for outreach, striving to make a lasting impact both within and beyond our church walls.

OUR VISION

To be a pillar of strength in the community as well as in the lives of those that are seeking spiritual direction.

To be an avenue whereby the Holy Spirit is free to express itself without limitations (Ephesians 4:30) and grieve not the Holy Spirit of God.

To teach and empower others to reach their fullest potential in Christ, then go out into the highways and byways and teach others to become Disciples of Christ. Understanding the purpose of the power when Christ said in Acts 1:8, But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

To comfort the brokenhearted, lost, hurt and depressed, to teach deliverance to those that are held captive, to set at liberty those that are bruised.

To create a caring, loving atmosphere in a body of believers; whereby the lonely can find love and respect, in a family that is non-judgmental.
